Miller (YMCA Senior Secretary in Jerusalem); to his right, Zofia Krzyżanowska (nee Zofia Wiśniewska; later: Zofia Drzewieniecki), Director, Polish YMCA in Palestine and Egypt attached to the Polish Army. Barbara, Palestine, March, 1944. (This Gaza village was later destroyed by the Israelis and its inhabitants – Palestinians - were turned into refugees.)
