    Description

    Members of the 1st Independent Polish Parachute Brigade during Britain’s “Operation Market-Garden” (Battle of Arnhem, Holland) in 1944. Some 400 members of the Brigade died in this ill-conceived operation. The movie “A Bridge Too Far” is based on the Battle of Arnhem.
