This presentation will focus on the use of adventure based and experiential learning activities. Teambuilding activities will be discussed. Special emphasis will be given to engaging disadvantaged populations and enhancing their self-esteem, problem-solving, and communication skills. Examples of work with youth in the Western New York area and Cusco, Peru will be discussed.
