Covers full spectrum of early childhood education Birth – Age 8. Provides overview of history, theory, philosophy and goals of ECE, roles of the teacher and environment as they influence student learning, examines variety of ECE programs, typical developmental characteristics, and exploration of career options. Observation in diverse early childhood settings. Offered every semester.
