Experiential Learning in Advanced Medical Nutrition Therapy
Abstract
Addresses required advanced medical nutrition therapy (MNT) related competencies for graduate dietetics students: Applies evidence analysis process. Explores MNT outcomes for malnutrition interventions in acute care, long term care, home care, and community settings. Includes selected content for the certified nutrition support clinician credential: e.g., managing parenteral nutrition electrolytes and glucose management. Employs competency-based education (CBE).
