“Synectics” Observing problem solving and dynamic role adoption by members of a group working on a thermos re-design. The audience is encouraged to observe how well the design team works together and note how the human process of creative design is often governed by the imposition of leader roles by the group.
Probably one of the more fun moments occurs at minute 7 into the talk when Dr. Prince shows the audience a real design solution for the thermos and they react quite enthusiastically.
