1st Lieutenant Bogdan Melech, in September 1939, Commander of the I Platoon, 10th Company, IV Battalion, 84th Polesie Rifle Regiment (84 Pułk Strzelców Poleskich). In this photograph, he wears the uniform of the Polish Army in the West in Great Britain. Friend of Drzewieniecki during and after WWII. Settled in London, Ontario, Canada and visited the Drzewieniecki family regularly.
