    2nd Company of the Polish Officers’ Legion (Legia Oficerska), made up of escapees from Occupied Poland or Germany: 1st Lieutenant Eugeniusz Kieras; 2nd Lieutenant Wroblewski; 1st Lieutenant Włodzimierz Drzewieniecki; 2nd Lieutenant Józef Maciąg [Maciąg was killed during a British Army special forces operation in Yugoslavia in 1943]; 2nd Lieutenant Limanowski; 2nd Lieutenant Tandara. Independent Carpathian Rifle Brigade (Samodzielniej Brygady Strzelców Karpackich [SBSK]). Latrun, Palestine, December 12, 1940.
