To the right, Lieutenant Colonel Tadeusz Zakrzewski, Commandant, Officer Cadet School of the Polish Infantry Reserves (Szkoła Podchorążych Rezerwy Piechoty). January 26, 1942, Alexandria, Egypt. (Maciąg was killed during a British Army special forces’ operation in Yugoslavia in 1943.)
