    Description

    Villa on the Sheppard plantation where 1st Lieutenant Włodzimierz Drzewieniecki and Miss Molly Carter’s other students of English stayed. Two Czechoslovakian students and 2nd Lieutenant Józef Maciąg. El-Tarh (near Alexandria), Egypt, 1941-1942. Signed for Drzewieniecki: “To Dear Włodek” by Miss Carter. (Maciąg was killed during a British Army special forces’ operation in Yugoslavia in 1943.)
