Description
German photo of Polish supplies strewn over the countryside after the German attack and bombing of Poland in September 1939. In his book, “Wrześniowe wspomnienia podporucznika,” (1978), Prof. Walter M. Drzewieniecki states that during the September Campaign he saw such sights everywhere and he was particularly dismayed by spilled and damaged medical supplies which were desperately needed by Polish soldiers.
