Description

By way of a digital poster board, a retooling of its traditional counterpart, this multimedia presentation illustrates how digital technologies are employed to transform the development of future and current classroom teachers. My on-going research spotlights the value of digital technologies in teacher preparation and the ways they are being used from cultivating digitally-based literacy pedagogies to fostering critical consciousness in our teacher candidates and teachers. Attendees will engage a digital poster board to learn about a range of research projects that helps to enhance content and pedagogical knowledge, and how they contribute to the transformation of teacher education to ensure that we meet the needs of a 21st century citizenry.
