Description

See-Through-Sound is a prototype that converts color and light information from real time video input or from static images into sound, mapping color attributes to sound parameters such as pitch, timbre, volume and sound localization. The tool aims to aid the visually impaired to infer and navigate through the world of light and color, and also anyone who needs to obtain information from the surroundings without direct visual access.
