Description

Thirty graduate students enrolling in special education teacher preparation program courses were offered two instructional methods for the same course. Section A was a traditional face to face instructional format. Section B was employed synchronous online instruction in a 3d virtual environment. The same faculty, using the same materials, taught both sections of the course. Data were collecting on measures of student achievement, engagement and satisfaction.
