The Delaware Avenue Baptist Church Collection contains nearly 3,700 membership cards ranging from 1882 to 2008. These include resident members, older resident members, non-resident members, dismissed, and inactive members. Most membership cards include each member’s name, address, mode and date of admission, and means and date of dismissal, if applicable. Some cards have obituaries secured to the backs in cases of dismissal.
