Abstract
Prerequisites: PAD 500. Examines topics in the study of health and health care delivery in the United States including distribution of health and disease in society; historical developments in public health and health management; quality and accessibility of health care services; organization of the U.S. health care system; stakeholders and behaviors within the health policy network; comparison of the U.S. health care system with other advanced industrialized societies; and the state of play in health care reform.
