Abstract

An introduction to the study of human society, its culture, institutions, processes, and change, including an examination of socialization, and relationships between and among individuals and groups in society. A prerequisite for many other courses in sociology and a requirement for all sociology majors. Useful for students planning careers in which they must interact with people of varying social and economic statuses.
