Abstract

Postulates of Quantum Mechanics introduced and explored through examples of different model Hamiltonians. Operator formalism and its connection with the application of the Schrödinger equation. Analytical and numerical techniques applied to physical systems in atomic, nuclear and condensed matter physics. Theoretical and experimental investigations of the foundations of Quantum Mechanics and recent applications. Offered in spring semester in alternate years.
