Disaster and Emergency Management Planning
Abstract
Federal, state and local disaster and emergency management policies and programs that guide disaster and emergency management planning and mitigation. How to analyze and assess hazard environments, assess local and organizational contexts, and develop strategies for preparing for and mitigating losses incurred by natural and man-made hazards. Focus is primarily on the United States. Course will be offered alternating Years in the fall.
