Abstract
Global introduction to artistic production and reception from the thirteenth-century through the twentieth. Analysis of technical, stylistic and iconographical developments in changing social, political, religious, cultural and historical circumstances. Course investigates how the human body conditions artistic production and shapes viewer response.
