Ballet Technique I
Abstract
A basic appreciation of the origins of classical ballet. Students will develop an understanding of classical dance through instruction of ballet technique: the influential aesthetic elements that define basic ballet, a codified physicality and terminology, and the cultural and historical influences. Students will attend live dance performance.
