Abstract
Taught in Spanish and English. An introduction to translating medical, scientific, and technical texts and documents. Topics covered include understanding and applying terminology pertaining to body systems, illnesses, scientific journals, and technical manuals. Case studies allow students to consider concepts, strategies, and skills necessary to produce a professional translation.
