Abstract
Introduction to the methodologies and questions of urban history and the crisis of American cities through discussion of readings and television depictions of urban change. Culminates in a substantial research paper that investigates Buffalo’ s urban history. Offered occasionally. Prerequisites: Upper-division status or instructor permission.
