Abstract
Fundamental principles of chemistry covering the nature and structure and properties of the atom, chemical bonding, geometry of molecules, the periodic table, the behavior of gases, stoichiometry, and solution chemistry. Includes laboratory experiences exploring these basic principles, introduction to safe laboratory practices, introduction to using basic chemical glassware and analytical balances.
