Abstract
Focus will be placed on the impact of culture on schooling through examination of the major conceptualizations of multicultural education and understanding of approaches that may be utilized by pre- and in-service teachers in ensuring that diverse cultures are addressed, respected, and integrated into classroom teaching, learning, and assessment.
