Abstract
The chemicals of life.Cell organelles. Metabolism and energy transformations. Cell division, gene expression, Mendelian and population genetics. Biotechnology as an approach to understanding life, human health. Emphasis will be placed on developing students’ ability to understand and use biological concepts at the college level.
