Abstract
Brazil’s Indigenous population and culture before Columbus. How Europeans, Africans and Indigenous populations experienced colonialism, Empire and republicanism. Brazil evolves from an exporter of primary commodities to industrialization. Women and minorities’ struggles for political equality and economic survival. How Brazil became a global powerhouse in the 21st century.
