Examining the historical, philosophical, theoretical, and legal dimensions of corrections in the United States; the organizational context of adult and juvenile institutional corrections; the impact of correctional programs; and the process and impact of organizational change in corrections. Emphasis on the development of graduate-level scholarship primarily in adult corrections.
