Family Violence and Adult Education

Abstract

An in-depth examination of the impact of family violence on adult education, with a focus on interpersonal violence and rape/sexual assault. Through weekly discussions, personal journal writing, small group dialog, and independent research, students gain an understanding of the dynamics of violence against women and families, and best practices for addressing such violence within adult education settings.
