Description
Mrs. Pauline Gragg was the wife of Dr. Wilson Gragg. Her recording primarily concerns her husband. Wilson Gragg was born in 1910. He earned his B.A. from the University of Illinois, and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Northwestern University. He was a noted authority on Shakespeare. Before coming to Buffalo Dr. Gragg taught at Cornell University. In 1949, Dr. Gregg joined the English Department at Buffalo State College. He spent two sabbatical leaves in England researching the Victorian period. In 1966, Dr. Gragg served as director of a program where students from the Buffalo State College spent one semester studying in England. He passed away on March 21, 1975.
