Introduction to Community Interpreting and Translation
Abstract
Prerequisite: At least five semesters of study of a language other than English or equivalent. Taught in English. Overview of concepts and skills in community interpreting and translation. Students will also develop critical awareness of standard use of English and a second language. Offered every spring.
