Abstract
Gender, sex, cultural construction of gender roles, alternative genders, impact of gender roles on social structure, and reflection of gender and gender roles on the material culture of past human societies. Archaeological evidence of gender including art, iconography, burial patterns, human remains, settlement patterns, architecture, and craft production.
