Including Students With Exceptionalities In Music Classrooms, Ensembles, And Studios
Abstract
This course provides foundation of knowledge related to successfully including students with exceptionalities in PK-12 music classrooms, ensembles, and studios. Specifically, strategies that facilitate participation, music skill development, and student enjoyment will be discussed. Behaviors of students with exceptionalities related to sensory, behavior, and social challenges are addressed.
