Description

Ruth Slacer was born July 17, 1910. She married Gordon Muck. Mrs. Muck earned a B.S. in Education and an M.S. in Supervision at the State University College at Buffalo. From 1931-1942 she was a teacher in the one-room Pomeroy School in the town of Lockport. She taught all eight grades.

In 1942, Mrs. Muck accepted a position in the primary area of the Campus School where she directed an experimental non-graded program for several years. She later became Professor of Elementary Student Teaching at the State University College at Buffalo. In 1966, Mrs. Muck earned a Doctoral degree from the University at Buffalo. She retired in 1976 and passed away on March 17, 2006.
