As Principal Industry Consultant in the Retail and CPG Practice at SAS, Jeff Thomas delivers retail analytic solutions to improve retail marketing and operational efficiencies. His responsibilities include the identification of industry trends and emerging issues as well as the development of a viewpoint and strategy for utilizing SAS solutions to address them. He leverages a unique blend of practical business experience and advanced analytical skills to help retailers implement proactive strategies based on data-driven insights. He has more than 25 years of experience either within or serving the retail industry. Jeff has a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Michigan State University with a focus on agricultural and food industry marketing and institutional economics.
