Description

Emerson E. Neuthardt earned his B.S. in Industrial Arts Education from the State University College at Oswego, M.A. in Supervision and Administration from New York University, and an Ed.D. in Administration and Higher Education from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Before coming to Buffalo, Dr. Neuthardt taught at Oswego State Teachers College and Cornell University. He was also supervisor of Industrial Arts for the Delmar, New York public schools. He joined the State University College at Buffalo in 1946. He was professor in the Industrial Arts Department. He retired in 1979.

Dr. Neuthardt served as Junior Aviation Consultant for the New York State Education Department; Consultant Air Attache for the French Embassy in Washington, D.C.; and United States Delegate to the World Confederation of the Teaching Profession held in Frankfort, Germany and in Istanbul, Turkey.
